Jason Endfield was born in Liverpool, England, in 1965.

Aged 15 he joined the staff of a local newspaper as a reporter and from there he began to write regularly for various publications. He became feature writer on a national UK magazine and many of his short stories have been published online and in print.

Now known as a blogger and environmental campaigner, he describes himself as 'fiercely independent' and is non-aligned politically, preferring to write about environmental matters unhindered by any association with a particular group or organisation which might compromise a free-thinking outlook.

His campaigning is centered around the need to protect wildlife from the effects of human impact on natural habitat.

He is known for his opposition to industrial scale development of wind farms in environmentally sensitive areas.
